How to describe 2019? Quite simply, a creative whirlwind! The past twelve months have been my busiest to date having worked on three brilliant dramas, all screened on BBC One. I’ve made a reel of the highlights, in case you haven’t been watching.
It was so hard to pick just one clip from each show, but somehow I managed it. The first is an opening scene from London Kills, the exciting new cop drama from showrunner, Paul Marquess. Series 2 is due back on our screens early 2020, so watch this space! Following that is one of my favourite cues from Casualty; it’s a scene with Iain and Ruby in the ambulance that’s very understated yet so cinematic. The final clip is the epic moment Mel’s car collides in Eastenders which had viewers on the edge of their seats in November - an iconic moment no less.
All three shows were an absolute dream to work on - different, challenging, time pressured and lots and lots of fun! Here’s to more in 2020
