Justine grew up in a musical family in Worcester and moved to London to begin her career in television production. She worked as a post-production supervisor on ITV’s long-running continuing drama The Bill, where she was responsible for navigating the show through post-production and delivery — around 96 hours of drama each year. The experience gave her a thorough understanding of how television is made, from the practical demands of post-production to the importance of collaboration across a large creative team.

Alongside her post production career, Justine continued to develop as a musician and composer. Moving into music for picture felt like a natural progression, bringing together her musical instincts with her understanding of drama and production.

She has always been a storyteller at heart, and the relationship between narrative and music has been a long-held fascination. She enjoys the collaborative process of working with directors and producers, finding the right musical approach for each story.

Her work spans a broad range of styles, but she is particularly drawn to character-led stories and music that creates atmosphere, tension and emotional connection.
