COMPOSER & SONGWRITER

Justine Barker is a composer for television and film, and also writes songs and instrumental music. She has scored more than 300 hours of television drama, including BBC One’s BAFTA-winning Casualty, crime series London Kills and Northern Irish drama Hope Street, which she co-composed with Anthony Eve.

Her approach to scoring is collaborative and instinctive, responding to the particular world of each project. Her scores move between intimate, emotional writing and darker, more tension-driven music, combining orchestral instruments and live players with electronic and textural elements.

Her much-anticipated debut artist album, Feed The Wolf, is due for release in 2027.

Justine is currently looking for new projects and creative collaborations, and is always interested in finding new stories and filmmakers to work with.

She is signed to independent music publisher Wise Music Creative.
