Really happy to share the teaser for new short film Heather Has Four Moms
When four radical lesbian mothers, raising a child separately and together, discover their heterosexual daughter’s promiscuous exploits, who has the guts to have “the talk”? Can four moms come to terms with Heather’s blossoming sexuality and negotiate their parental rites and responsibilities? Will one of them have the nerve to talk to their daughter about sex and birth control before they have to talk pregnancy and abortion?
Because ... sometimes a girl just needs her mothers.
Heather Has Four Moms is the inaugural project for Crone Heights Productions, the product of Jeanette L. Buck, Rani Deighe Crowe and Bonnie Rae Brickman. It's been a particular joy to be involved in this film as Crone Heights’ mission is to put more women in front of and behind the camera producing diverse stories that otherwise might not be told.
It's also been my first opportunity to work with U.S based director Jeanette Buck and that's been an insightful and rewarding experience. I have not done a lot of comedy before so this has been a new challenge for me and with Jeanette's direction, I think we've got a fun score that really supports this fresh story. Please check it out!
